This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, place an order, create an account, subscribe to our newsletter or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
Who we are

What we collect
- When you order: your name, billing and delivery addresses, email address, phone number, the pieces you buy, your delivery country and how you pay. If you pay online, you enter your card or account details on our payment provider’s secure page, so we don’t see or store them.
- Your account: if you create one, your name, email address, password (stored in a form no one can read), saved addresses, order history and wishlist.
- Newsletter: your email address and/or WhatsApp number, the channels you’ve chosen, your region and when you subscribed.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact form (your name, email address, phone number, order number and message), by email or on WhatsApp.
- Style assistant: the questions you type into the chat on our website.
- Reviews: if you review a piece, your name, email address and review.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser and device, and the pages you visit. We use your IP address to work out which country you’re in, so we can show prices, delivery and payment options for it. When you order, WooCommerce also records the IP address and browser used, to help prevent fraud, and how you arrived at our store.
How we use it
- To take and deliver your orders, take payment, handle exchanges, returns and refunds, and keep you updated about your order.
- To run your account and answer your messages.
- To show prices, delivery and payment options for your country.
- To send you our newsletter, new arrivals and offers by email or WhatsApp, if you’ve subscribed.
- To prevent fraud and keep our website secure.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it.
- To keep the records the law requires, such as tax and accounting records.
Our legal reasons
If you’re in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, data protection law asks us to explain the legal reasons we rely on:
- Contract: to deliver your orders and run your account.
- Consent: for our newsletter and WhatsApp messages. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing.
- Legitimate interests: to show prices for your country, prevent fraud, keep our website secure and improve it, always balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation: to keep tax and accounting records.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the people and services that help us run our store, and only what they need:
- Couriers, who deliver your order: your name, delivery address, phone number and the details of your parcel.
- Our bank, for bank transfers and refunds: the payment details you give us.
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you message us on WhatsApp and for the WhatsApp updates you’ve agreed to receive: your WhatsApp number and the messages.
- Email, hosting and security providers, who send our emails, host our website and protect it from attacks, and store information for us as they do.
- Our accountants and lawyers when we need them, and the police, tax or other authorities when the law requires it.
Where your information is processed
We’re based in Pakistan, and some of the services we use are in other countries, including the United States. So your information may be processed outside the country you live in. Where the law requires, we make sure it’s protected with appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser saves. We use them, and your browser’s storage, to run our store: to keep your bag and account working, to remember your choices and, when you order, to record how you found us:
We don’t use advertising cookies or analytics tools such as Google Analytics. If we start using them, or tools such as the Meta Pixel, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it. You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, but without them your bag and account won’t work.
How long we keep it
- Orders: as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually six years after the end of the tax year of the order.
- Your account: until you ask us to delete it.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep a note that you’ve unsubscribed, so we don’t contact you again.
- Messages: as long as we need them to help you and to deal with any follow-up.
- Style assistant: we don’t save your chats on our website. Your browser keeps the conversation until you close the tab.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it, or to delete it;
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it;
- ask us to send it to you or to another company in a common format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing from our newsletter.
To use any of these rights, contact us by email at reach@onebillionstyles.com or on WhatsApp at +92 337 1016937. We’ll reply within one month, and may need to confirm your identity first. You can also update your details yourself in My account, and unsubscribe with the link in any of our emails.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us so we can put it right. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) in the United Kingdom or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
Children
Our store is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you think a child has given us their information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Keeping your information safe
Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, only the people who need your information can see it, and we choose service providers that protect it. No website is completely secure, so please keep your password private.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make important changes, we’ll tell you on our website or by email.
